Last Minute Wedding Day Check List

Whatever you call it; Getting wed, tying the knot, marrying, it’s one of the major deals you've
ever faced before! With all the planning you’re doing right now, it’s hard to imagine there’s
any detail you haven’t thought of. But trust me, there are certain to-dos that somehow never
make it to the list.

With all those months of preparation and planning for the happiest day of your life, it’s important
to take a moment to reflect and relax before the wedding comes. Here is a tick list of the best
things to do the night before your wedding.

Start making post-wedding plans

You need to decide what you’re doing immediately after your wedding. If you don’t want the party to end with the last dance, you should pick a late-night spot in or near one of the guest hotels. If privacy isn’t all that important, book your wedding night room in the same hotel as your guests. If you just want privacy, we strongly suggest you book a room elsewhere.

Have Vendor Contact Info

Make sure you have a handy list of your vendor's contact info. In case of a no-show vendor or last-minute emergency, you'll want to be able to reach them easily.

Have An "Insurance Policy."

When you pay your vendors, have each of them sign a note indicating he's received it. Then if anyone claims he wasn't paid, you will have proof that he was. It’s a must that you should remember.

Picking someone trustworthy to take your things home after the reception

Your gifts, mementos (like cake topper, guest book etc.) and any leftover food, booze or cake need a trusty escort to get them home. Choose a person wisely and let them know about their responsibility.

Drop Off Thank You Note For Every Gift You Receive

You may like to provide thank you notes for every gift you receive. The guests will feel delighted and it will also give them peace of mind knowing that the gift was received and not lost in the mail.

Pack For Your Honeymoon Early

You might want to plan for your most anticipated honeymoon earlier. Doing it sooner rather than later is the way to guarantee one less worry.

Decorating the other areas

Besides planning where all of your guests sit, you need to think about decorating the other areas of your wedding venue. You might want to put in the small extra effort to give the bathrooms and cocktail bar the decor they deserve. A few candles in the cocktail bar and air-fresheners in the toilet will work just fine!

Get All of Your Necessary Things Together
Get your wedding day jewelry, dresses, shoes, etc, ready in one place. Also make sure you've had your going-away outfit pressed and someone is ready to bring them to the reception.

Finalize Your Seating Chart & Guest List

Take a final look at your seating chart & Guest List to make sure you haven't forgotten anyone close who should attend your big day!

Your Wedding Day Attire And Accessories

Do remember to get your personal grooming tools. Whether you're getting dressed at a hotel, your venue, or your own home, you'll want to make sure you have all the items you need.

Eat Something Before the Ceremony

Many people don't eat enough on their wedding day just because it’s their weeding day. To keep you from fainting at the altar, or being famished while you're posing for photos, be sure to eat something while you're getting ready. It’ll give you energy to enjoy the program & look fresh!

Say Thanks To Your Parents

Your parents raised you to be the amazing person that you are. So be sure to say thanks with a thoughtful gift or a heartfelt letter. It’ll make them feel special & delighted!

Have Wedding Items In Place Before The Big Day

You should get your wedding items like glasses, cake knife and server delivered to your reception site a few days beforehand. Designate a trusted friend or family member to get everything there before the guests arrive.

Instruct Your Photographer properly

The photographer will probably get the obvious ones, but instruct him to leave nothing to chance. If you want a picture of your sorority sisters or everyone who flew in for your wedding or your new husband's coworkers or friends, let your photographer know in advance.

Prepare For Rain or Sudden Rough Weather

If you're planning an outdoor ceremony, be sure to have a tent set up and umbrellas on hand for guests just in case it rains or the weather turns out rough suddenly.

Designate A Wedding-Day Supervisor

Have a well-organized relative arrive early at the ceremony and reception site. He/She can ensure everything is in order and you’ll feel relaxed.

Pack A Emergency Kit For Your Big-Day

Pack a emergency kit including hairspray, face powder, lipstick, an umbrella, a shawl, stain remover, tissues and backup copies of your music choices etc.
Breathe and Calm Nerves
Just Relax. Take a minute to yourself to breathe and calm down. Do some simple relaxation. That’ll help you

manage wedding day stress.

You took a look at this Last Minute Wedding Day Check List. But the first this you need to do is to

remember to enjoy these last few days. It’s your weeding and you must have some sweet & beautiful

memories with its preparation. Whatever happens, your day will be perfect, so start thinking about the first
